ASME class 150 to 2500

Salient Features:
» Body and bonnet - Cast with uniform sections, precision machined
»
Body: Straight through port without recesses except in the seat area - Minimum resistance to flow, turbulence and erosion
»
Flex wedge: Guide slots in the wedge engage with integral guide ribs in the body, Stem-to-wedge contact close to wedge centre - Better sealing, smoother operation
»
Seal-welded seat ring - Eliminates leakage path between seat ring and body, does not loosen up due to temperature fluctuations or vibration
»
Stem - One-piece construction with forged T-head - Long service life, smoother operation

Globe Valves

Disc free to rotate to avoid localized wear

Pressure-seal :
L&T Valves manufactures a wide variety of Gate, Globe & Check Valves in pressure-seal design.

The valves are approved by the global majors in power and oil & gas and have a reputation for reliable performance in critical services, across the globe.

Pressure seal range is available in ASME classes from 600 to 4100. The valves conform to ANSI B16.34 and are offered with fully hard-faced seats in carbon steel, stainless steel and alloy steel.

Gate Valves
» ANSI B16.34
» 2" to 36"
» ASME class 600 to 4100

Salient Features:
» Pressure seal body-bonnet joint - Line pressure is used to create a tight body-bonnet seal. Higher the pressure, tighter the seal
» Parallel-slide gate with disc-springs - Better sealing, lower operating torque, minimises possibility of disc jamming
» Fully hard-faced trim - Disc, seat-rings and back-seat hard-faced for longer service life
» Welded seat ring - Eliminates leakage path between seat ring and body, does not loosen up due to temperature fluctuations or vibration
» Valves available in intermediate pressure classes (#3100, 3500 & 4100) to meet specific customer requirements
» Option - Valves are offered with pillar yoke arrangement that provides easy access to gland packing

Golbal Valves
» ANSI B16.34
» 2" to 18"
» ASME class 600 to 4100

Salient Features:
» Y-type Configuration - Straight flow and lower pressure drop compared to conventional globe valves
» Pressure seal body-bonnet joint - Line pressure is used to create a tight body-bonnet seal. Higher the pressure, tighter the seal
» Integral body seat
» Fully hard-faced trim - Disc, seat and back-seat hard-faced for longer service life
» Guided disc
» Impactor handwheels for tighter sealing
» Valves available in intermediate pressure classes (#3100, 3500 & 4100) to meet specific customer requirements
» Option - Valves are offered with pillar yoke arrangement that provides easy access to gland packing

Check Valves
» ANSI B16.34
» 2" to 28"
» ASME class 600 to 4100

Salient Features:
» Pressure seal body-cover joint - Line pressure is used to create a tight body-bonnet seal. Higher the pressure, tighter the seal
» Fully hard-faced trim - Disc and seat-rings hard-faced for longer service life
» Welded seat ring - Eliminates leakage path between seat ring and body, does not loosen up due to temperature fluctuations or vibration
» Swing-type disc
» Disc: Internally-hinged - No opening on the body, higher integrity
» Valves available in intermediate pressure classes (#3100, 3500 & 4100) to meet specific customer requirements
