
Damani Eye Hospital (DEH), under the auspices of “Surajratan Fatehchand Damani Janhit Nidhi” is an exclusive “state of the Art” ophthalmic hospital located in Akola, Maharashtra. The hospital was inaugurated by Smt. Sarladevi Birla on 2nd March 1997.
The hospital was built with the project cost of Rs.45 million. It is situated in sprawling estate of about 4.5 acre and has horizontal layout with built up area of approximately 50,000 square feet. The space programming and physical designing of the hospital is at par with international standards. DEH, with a mission of vision, is helping to reduce the burden of avoidable blindness with excellence in Vidarbha region of Maharashtra (India).
To provide door to door ophthalmic service to the Community, we regularly organize free Eye check up camps in villages and provide them required medicines free of cost and also perform free Eye-Surgeries to poor people. It aims to provide comprehensive and quality eye-care at a reasonable and affordable cost under one roof.
