SERVER
:
A server is a system (software and suitable computer
hardware) that responds to requests across a Computer
network to provide, a network service. Servers can be
run on a dedicated computer, which is also often referred
to as "the server", but many networked computers
are capable of hosting servers.
In many cases, a computer can provide several services
and have several servers running. Servers operate within
a client-server architecture, servers are computer programs
running to serve the requests of other programs, the
clients. Servers often provide essential services across
a network, either to private
users inside a large organization or to public users
via the Internet. Typical computing servers are database
server, file server, mail server, print server, web
server, gaming server, application server, or some other
kind of server.

ROOM:
A server room is a room, usually air-conditioned, devoted
to the continuous operation of computer servers. An
entire building or station devoted to this purpose is
a Data Center. The computers in a server rooms are usually
headless systems that can be operated remotely via KVM
switch or remote administration software. Climate is
one of the factors that affects the energy consumption
and environmental impact of a server room. |

Networking:
A computer network or data network is a telecommunications
network that allows computers to exchange data. In computer
networks, networked computing devices (network nodes)
pass data to each other along data connections. The
connections (network links) between nodes are established
using either cable media or wireless media. The best-known
computer network is the Internet. Network devices that
originate, route and terminate the data are called network
nodes. Nodes can include hosts such as servers and personal
computers, as well as networking hardware. Two devices
are said to be networked when a device is able to exchange
information with another device. Computer networks support
applications such as access to the World Wide Web, shared
use of application and storage servers, printers, and
fax machines, and use of email and instant messaging
applications.

Firewall.
In computing, a firewall is a software or hardware-based
network security system that controls the incoming and
outgoing network traffic by analyzing the data packets
and determining whether they should be allowed through
or not, based on a rule set. A firewall establishes
a barrier between a trusted, secure internal network
and another network (e.g., the Internet) that is not
assumed to be secure and trusted
