Nagar Road is 27th Highway of Maharashtra state It starts from Yerwada Bridge at Bund Garden and passes through Yerwada, Kalyani Nagar, Viman Nagar, Chandan Nagar up to Wagholi. The highway is major link between two Cities.
Since train takes 3 to 4 hours to cover the distance People refers travelling by this Highway, due to which a person reaches to Nagar in 1.5 or 2 hours. This highway connects Pune and Nagar to Wagholi, Lonikand, Sanaswadi, Karegaon Bhima, Shikrapur,Shirur and Kedgaon. Wagholi-Shikrapur Flyover is proposed bridge of 25km on this Highway.
